My colleague Anton and I covered a three-day event in London for 'Visit Houston,' a Houston-based travel group promoting the city as a prime destination for British tourists. On day one, delegates explored Leake Street Arches with supervised graffiti and enjoyed a sightseeing tour on an open-top London bus. Day two featured an insightful presentation on travel marketing in the UK, followed by a grand evening event with line dancing, a DJ, and exquisite food and drinks at the Grosvenor Square Marriott Hotel. The event concluded on day three with a sit-down dinner and a presentation by former astronaut Mike Foreman, complete with a Michelin-starred three-course meal.
